Ecstasy of Joy-Bob Proctor Cruise 2008

Over the last few weeks, I have not given this blog the attention that I would have loved to. The reason is not because I do not like blogging anymore, neither is it because I have run out of things to say. Quite the opposite! In fact, I have had so much to say such that I did not know where to start. My inspiration levels have been far too high for me to actually settle down and begin writing. Something has certainly shifted in me, and for the past few weeks I have been living in an undescribable ecstascy of joy and inspiration.
So how did I get to be like this? How did I land on cloud 9? Well, I went on the Bob Proctor Cruise and wow, talk of a phenomenal experience! Without a doubt, this cruise was the best! The trip began on the 18th of October 2008 and lasted 7 days. From the moment, I arrived at Port Fort Lauderdale I knew that I was in for a treat. The sight of the majestic Eurodam spoke of grandeur and promised me that I was on the verge of scaling to new heights. And of course, this was to be.
As I set foot on the ship, the wide infectious smiles on everyone’s face confirmed my great expectations. The energy levels were high, and there was an air of jubilance everywhere on the ship.
Dining on the ship was exceptional and truly 5 star. There was a wide variety of restaurants and food, this was certainly a place where true abundance reigned. With its grand decor the Eurodam is a magnificent work of art.
The crew were always more than happy, more than willing and always at your service. Surely, true hospitality does not get better than this. As we sailed through the nights, I often stood outside my balcony and I could not help but feel a sense of gratitude for this wonderful experience.
Now, the reason I had gone on the cruise was that I had a thirst to grow. I knew that the experience would be life-changing and would most certainly give me the boost I needed. And of course, the trip certainly over delivered. Days were scheduled with speeches from renowned and powerful speakers. I am talking of people such as Reverend Michael Beckwith, his wife Rickie Beckwith, Mary Manin Morrissey, Peggy McColl, Lisa Jimenez, Debbie Ford, Mark Victor Hansen, Paul Martinelli, Vic Johnson, Larry Wilson, Gerry Robert, Cynthia Kersey, Steve Siebold and Tiffany Baron. And of course Bob Proctor, the man himself.
There was something for everyone. Not only did I get a chance to hear these people speak but I also got the opportunity to talk to them off-stage too. Where in day to day life do you get such an opportunity to rub your shoulders against Bob Proctor and have a conversation with him face to face?
I was was loving it, and grabbed every opportunity I could, so after Vic Johnson had given some useful tips, it was time to pose for the camera.
Moreso, most people on the cruise were either personal development authors, coaches and consultants. So there was plenty of opportunity to mingle and mix with like-minded people, make friends and throw in those all important questions.
The lectures were powerful and waking up to Mary Manin Morrissey’s seminars every morning was a true blessing. There is something about Mary Manin Morrissey which will speak to your heart. She is a very spiritual and inspired woman and most who attended her seminars would testify to that.
To top things up, the cruise stopped at wonderful resorts. Yes, I went shopping in the vibrant city of Nassau (Bahamas), sun-bathed on the beach in beautiful Ochos Rios (Jamaica) and wine-tasted a lot of Rum in the wealthy Grand Cayman.
It is no wonder therefore, that I am still bubbling and feeling ecstastic. This was a very worthwhile trip, jam-packed with everything to help people to ‘leap past the terror barriers’ which often hold us back from fulfilling our desires.
I certainly got what I went for and even more. My expectations were met and exceeded. Would I go again? Most certainly. It’s a resounding and solid YES!
In the coming days, I will bring to you what I learnt, with the hope that perhaps you will learn a thing or two that will help you leap past your very own terror barriers.
Untile next time, be blessed and I shall continue to swim in my ecstasy of joy!
